I wonder how the sunset came so fast
It started after all my time had passed
This morning I was born, the day flew by
Now evening comes, and night is drawing nigh
I finally reached the place where I could start
But this turns out to be the hardest part
For they won’t let me do what I had planned
I dance, but no one comes to take my hand
I sing, but no one listens to a note
I write, but no one reads the words I wrote
I joke, but no one laughs, they think I’m daft.
They act as though I’m covered with some sort of mold
When all I did was get a little old.
